Italian PM flirts with earthquake doctor

Gaffe-prone Silvio Berlusconi injected a little romance into his country's devastating earthquake – by flirting with a doctor at a field hospital. The 72-year-old prime minister chatted up intensive care specialist Dr Fabiola Carrieri and said: 'I wouldn't mind being resuscitated by you.' She laughed off his comments, saying Mr Berlusconi was gallant for 'trying to raise a smile in the middle of all the sorrow'. It was the latest blunder from the prime minister. Last week, he told those made homeless by the L'Aquila quake they should think of their time in emergency tents as a 'camping weekend'.
