Patrizia D’Addario to reveal details of night with Berlusconi in autobiography

The call girl who recorded an alleged conversation with Silvio Berlusconi about their night together has revealed that she wants her story to be published in English in a book likely to heap further embarrassment on the Italian Prime Minister. Patrizia D’Addario, 42, told The Times that she planned to travel to London to seek a deal for the autobiography she is writing. At a promotional event at a Paris nightclub, Ms D’Addario also claimed that the Italian Prime Minister repeatedly tried to book her services after she attended two parties at his residence in Rome. Mr Berlusconi was forced to admit that he was not a “saint” after she released a recording from the second of the parties which appeared to show that they had slept together. This added to the storm that broke when Veronica Lario, his wife, filed for divorce in May on the grounds that he “consorts with minors”. In the latest chapter in a saga that is straining Italy’s renowned tolerance for sexual peccadillos, Ms D’Addario said that the Prime Minister had invited her to his Sardinian holiday home, to his residence in Milan and to an exclusive health spa.
